Kalki 2898 AD Story

Set in a dystopian future in the year 2898 AD, the film intertwines ancient Hindu mythology with science fiction. The narrative begins with a depiction of Mahabharata events, introducing the character Ashwatthama, who is cursed with immortality. Fast forward to 2898 AD, society is oppressed under the rule of Supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan). Bhairava (Prabhas), a scavenger, becomes an unlikely hero who joins forces with rebels from Shambala to protect SUM-80 (Deepika Padukone), a pregnant woman prophesied to give birth to Kalki, the savior destined to end the age of darkness.
